I went to the doctor to day and following the shortest appointment I've ever had, he tells me "Come to the hospital on Monday." Yay, an induction! That means I get my epidural before the pain ever starts! (We hope, at least). And everyone keeps asking if I know what it is yet. Nope, and it's driving me crazy! But we'll know one way or another come Monday. I'm being induced at 6am, but since heaven only knows how long labor will take, I'm telling everyone that they can come if they want, but be prepared to be bored. Anyhow, hopefully my next post will include baby pictures!

We went to the zoo last Saturday. It was Aleyse's second time, but at least this time she was able to appreciate it! I don't know who had more fun, her or her daddy. She kept pointing to stuff and calling it a 'kitty' or a 'dog'. It was so cute!

Texas Trip

So we left for Texas on Friday in the midst of the beginning of a snowstorm. My mom drove for about an hour or so before the snow stopped. Then it was another 10 hours of fun-filled driving with a short-tempered toddler. Aleyse actually did surprisingly well considering she was strapped to the car seat longer than should ever be allowed. We finally got to Grammie's house and had fun hanging out. Aleyse was showered with attention and loved every minute of it. We went to their stake conference, where Aleyse slept on David the whole time. Then we had to leave Sunday night and stayed at Mike and Marisa's. What an adventure with her three boys, Aleyse, and pregnant me. We enjoyed hanging out there, Marisa and I occupied ourselves with making fun of Anton and keeping our kids from destroying everything (or eating everything in that case.) Then on Monday we said some more goodbyes and headed home after a long weekend. When we got home, the first thing Anton did was play with Mike's broken TV (they had a 34" big screen TV that wouldn't turn on anymore). Anton opened the back, tightened some cables and voila! Figures. Now if only getting everything set on our new van would be so simple... Oh well. I'll post some pictures later of our trip.
